At Christmas my kids gave me a gift voucher for painting sessions with Nick at Passion for Painting. Having never painted, but on the 'one day' list I was really excited but also apprehensive. (Terrified actually).It is the best thing I have ever done. I have completed the year, done 5 paintings and am so passionate about it. I was a late starter, would-be art student in my 60’s when I had the good fortune to discover Passion for Painting. Learning to paint, putting oil on canvas from lesson one – in at the deep end so to speak – has proved to be an exciting and satisfying process. In a relaxed and creative atmosphere Hannah [teacher] has patiently guided me to sharpen my observational skills and learn the finer points of applying paint to canvas. Creativity and imagination is up to me.
Hannah manages her time with all students in class very efficiently. Her style of teaching is to discuss, suggest, show how when necessary; never to criticise, always to encourage. Her undoubted competence has helped me reach a standard well beyond my initial hopes.
